January Budget 2014/ Boston Haul

Time to start my monthly budget updates. For January, I waited until I got to Boston to do some shopping. Although we didn’t have very much time for shopping, I surprisingly was able to find some good deals.

At the Wrenthem Village Premium Outlets and Michaels:

We went for just a few hours and everyone was able to find something for themselves. Sadly, the J.Crew outlet store was closed for renovations, otherwise, I might have done more damage to my bank account. hehe

At Walgreens:

I love stopping by stores like Walgreens, CVS to look at their beauty and hair products. I am not so much into the makeup, but I love trying new lotions and facial cleansers. I did not buy much this time as prices were comparable to prices in Canada. I did buy products that seemed different to me or something I don’t think I can get up in Canada.

At Trader Joe’s:

I have been wanting to go to Trader Joe’s for so long. I see this store in my Aunt’s town every time we are there and we never had a chance to go. This time I asked if we could stop by if we had time and we found some time. hehe This store is so cool. My cousins told me about how they have chocolate covered anything. hehe. Unfortunately, we didn’t buy any snacks, as we were headed to the airport right away. But I still got a bunch of their other products. I had searched online for a few beauty products I wanted to try, and  was able to pick some up.

Wow, once I list everything out like that, that is quite a lot of stuff I brought home. This is a fantastic way to see how much I am spending monthly and I am hoping it will keep me accountable to sticking to my budget. I am really happy with all that I have bought and shouldn’t need to go shopping anytime soon =D
