I have been listening to Hillsong UNITED’s “Oceans” acoustic session nonstop this past week. There is just something about this song. I don’t even know how to describe it. I have been listening to it during my quiet time and almost anytime I am home and a sense of peace overflows. Looking at the lyrics in this song reminded me of a recent bible study passage I had studied from Matthew 14: 22-33, where Jesus walks on water and calls Peter out of the boat to join him. The lyrics in the song just matches what I am learning: obedience, trust, and to step out of the boat in faith.
