August 2014 – Toronto Part 1

Headed to Toronto once again for my good friend L and T’s wedding. D and I took a flight with our good friend S and her baby girl A. A did so well on the flight. We were so happy we could travel with S and A. In Toronto, we rented out a town house with 9 of our friends. It was awesome planning on my friends’ part as we were able to get clean, comfortable accommodations. Since none of us rented a car, we did do a lot of taxiing. We arrived Thursday night and settled in. Friday morning/afternoon, we wandered around The Distillery District and had lunch there. We went back home after to get ready for L’s wedding in the evening.

L & T’s wedding was at the Atlantis Pavilion right by the waterfront of Toronto. Beautiful wedding and reception. So happy for my dear friends!!! Thank you for the invite. D and I were so happy we could be there to celebrate with you both.

San Diego – July 2014

D and I took a trip to San Diego after our wedding. We went for a short Monday – Friday trip. We didn’t plan much for this trip as we were mainly planning for the wedding. Thankfully the day before we left, D looked up some places for us to go to. We took it really chill and easy on the trip and it was so relaxing.

To sum up our trip, we basically went to the beach, ate, stopped by Trader Joe’s, ate, went shopping, ate some more, relaxed, watched a movie, walked around the zoo, more beach time, and ate more. Here is a collection of mine and D’s pictures.

Toronto Adventures

While in Toronto, I was able to meet up with my good friend L. She took me around Toronto, to the market, City Hall, and a great bubble tea place. After bbt, L’s fiance T met up with us and drove us down to the beaches. It is so cool that Toronto has beaches so close. Wish we had that here.

While at the St. Lawrence Market we grabbed some lunch. We both got Shrimp Po-boys from Busters Sea Cove. So delicious. Thanks L!! L warned me before we went in that it was going to be a loud atmosphere. It definitely was loud, but it made the experience so much more memorable. They also have really good food. People just kept coming in and it was only a Tuesday night. They have a bunch of restaurants in Vancouver and a few in Toronto. If you ever get a chance, try it out. Thanks L and T for taking me. I had a really good time with you both. OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
