Back again to wrap up some of my adventures in June. Basically more food pictures. hehe.

My family and D’s family went for all you can eat Japanese food to celebrate my brother’s graduation.
Another food blog. I like to EAT … no.. I love to EAT. hehe
My good friend E was in town this past week and I met up with her twice to eat. Funny, how it worked out but both times we had Japanese food. I met up with her and my friend A and we went to Izakaya Tomo, a Japanese Tapas restaurant. It’s been open for over a year yet this was my first time. I have heard lots of good reviews and my expectations were fulfilled.
We all really liked the grilled edamame. The udon was unique with an Italian twist. We were also really glad that most of their food were peanut free, so all of us were able to enjoy the food. Great food, awesome time with friends =D More to come in the summer!!
While in Toronto, I was able to meet up with my good friend L. She took me around Toronto, to the market, City Hall, and a great bubble tea place. After bbt, L’s fiance T met up with us and drove us down to the beaches. It is so cool that Toronto has beaches so close. Wish we had that here.
While at the St. Lawrence Market we grabbed some lunch. We both got Shrimp Po-boys from Busters Sea Cove. So delicious. Thanks L!!
For dinner, they took me to Guu. Guu is an Izakaya where they serve Japanese Tapas. It was such an awesome experience. L warned me before we went in that it was going to be a loud atmosphere. It definitely was loud, but it made the experience so much more memorable. They also have really good food. People just kept coming in and it was only a Tuesday night. They have a bunch of restaurants in Vancouver and a few in Toronto. If you ever get a chance, try it out. Thanks L and T for taking me. I had a really good time with you both.
I am really thankful for my friends. They mean so much to me and are such a big part of my life. No matter how far or how close they are, I know my friends have impacted me in so many ways. I am truly thankful for them and the special memories we share together. I hope I have been and will be able to be a blessing in their lives.
