Music Monday – The Fray

Today, I am featuring The Fray for Music Monday. To be honest, I don’t know many of their songs. There are just a few that I know and like. I first heard of this band when their song “How to Save a Life” was featured in an episode of Grey’s Anatomy back in 2006.

Another old song I enjoy listening to is “Over my Head (Cable Car)”

A newer songs from 2013 is “Love Don’t Die”. It is quite a catchy song … “Love don’t die … no matter where we go… ”

Music Monday – Wedding Music Selections

I want to share some of our music we had from our wedding. For our wedding ceremony, we had our worship team sing 4 songs for us.

D, the moms and the bridal party walked down the aisle to One Republic’s “All This Time” which our worship team learned in less than a week.

I walked down the aisle to City Harmonic’s “Holy (Wedding Day)”  which our team sang wonderfully.

We had 2 worship songs we sang as a whole congregation led by our awesome team once again.

Phil Wickham’s “This is Amazing Grace”

Tim Neufeld’s  “Praise Him

During our signing of our vows, we played Switchfoot’s “Love is a Song”

Our recessional song D and I and our bridal party walked out to was One Republic’s “Marchin On”

For our first dance, we danced to Jason Mraz’s ” I Won’t Give Up”

It did take us a while to pick some of the songs. Some were easy as they are favourites of mine and D’s. We are so grateful for our worship team and all their help. They did an amazing job and we were so happy.

Hiatus // Music Monday — Zerbin

Zerbin, a local-ish band D and I discovered on our local radio stations. We really like their catchy songs. It’s got the indie feel that I like. I just think it is so neat that they are local. I know it happens a lot, I just need to dig around more to find local artists. hehe. Hope you enjoy the songs.

D’s favorite song from Zerbin: “Hear Me”

In Your Arms

I’ll also be taking a short hiatus as I am getting married on Saturday. hehe So excited yet so nervous. I can’t wait to see all my friends and family. As things are getting busy and I’ll be out-of-town for a bit then moving around house sitting for friends, I’ll probably won’t be posting until August/September. I’ll definitely be posting about my wedding as D has done quite a few DIY projects. hehe. Can’t wait to share with you all.

Hope your summer is going well. Be back in a few weeks!!!

Music Monday — Gavin Degraw

D and I have a few songs we like from Gavin Degraw. We haven’t really listened to his recent music,  but I’ll share some of his older songs. I really like “Best I Ever Had” as it is really catchy and get to learn my states. hehe Another song we like is “Not Over You”. He also gave a great performance on America’s Got Talent Finale with one of the finalists, Cami Bradley singing a mix of both these songs.
