Seasons

I feel changes are approaching. I am not a fan of changes but I will continue to trust in God’s plans. I can’t predict exactly what the changes are but I just feel it.

We had a guest speaker at church last year who shared about seeking God in every season of life. I have been asking God how I can be with Him to my fullest potential in the season I am in right now. I remember reflecting about this when I was single, then when I was dating and now that I am married and hopefully someday as a parent. But right now, in this season of life, I am wanting to draw closer to God, to be more like Jesus, and to be filled by the Spirit.

Heritage Festival 2016

Every year during the Heritage Day Long Weekend in August, Edmonton is host to the Heritage Festival at Hawrelak Park. I look forward to this festival every year as not only are you able to celebrate and appreciate different cultures but there is always delicious foods to try.

Our mission is to promote public awareness, understanding and appreciation for cultural diversity through an annual summer festival, as well as to provide educational events, programs and/or projects on a year-round basis

This year D and I went early Monday morning in order to beat the crowds and the hot afternoon sun. We walked through trying different foods, learning about different cultures and taking in the many performances. Here are some of the snapshots we took.

Taste of Edmonton 2016

Over the weekend, D and I stopped by Taste of Edmonton. This is a great place for restaurants and food trucks to showcase couple of their dishes. There is also free live entertainment on every night starting at 7:00pm. This is held downtown at Sir Winston Churchill Square and is on until July 30th. Here are a collection of pictures we took of the booths and the food we tried.

30 Days of Bible Lettering Part 1.

Hi there,

I am finally back with blogging. Today I am starting with what I have been up to on a daily basis in July. A good friend of mine inspired me to participate with the 30 Days of Bible Lettering. This is  a wonderful opportunity to study deeper in God’s word and to practice my hand lettering.

I have found this to be a wonderful challenge as it really helps to slow down and focus on the verse of the day. Not only focus on what the words are and how to letter it, but to dig deeper and find what that verse means to me and my relationship with God.

Here are few of the verses from

Thanks for stopping by. If you are interested in seeing my daily hand lettering posts, follow me on Instagram @unending_blessings
