As Good Friday and Easter are fast approaching, this week I am in a reflective mood. Reflecting upon how Jesus Christ came on this earth and died on the cross for my sins. He rose again 3 days later and conquered death. This is something I did not and do not deserve. But God loves us so much that He sent His son. Studying the book of Matthew in my bible study, I see how human Jesus was during his time on earth. I read about how he pleaded with God that if it was God’s will, to take this cup/this burden away. However, God did not as this is His will and Jesus diligently obeyed. My heart aches as I reflect upon this but at the same time I am so grateful for Jesus’ obedience for now I am saved. Thank you LORD! I know I do not deserve this but I am so thankful. Guide me to continue walking with You and to continue to seek Your will.
